Protect Our Natural Resources

Protecting the environment means protecting Conway and the Mount Washington Valley. The Sierra Club has endorsed me because they agree with my stand on environmental issues.

Our community’s prosperity is tied directly to the land around us. Tourism is the lifeblood of  Conway's economy, and visitors come from all over the world for our mountains, forests, and lakes. When we protect them, we’re protecting the jobs, the family businesses, and the way of life that make this valley special. That’s why I will fight to keep the National Forest Roadless Rule in place, so the wild places that draw people here stay wild for generations to come.

I will work to preserve the natural beauty of the Mount Washington Valley. I grew up enjoying NH lakes, and that experience shaped who I am. Clean water and conservation aren’t abstract policy issues to me. They’re personal, and they’re the reason so many of us chose to build our lives here and stay.

Just as important is what lies beneath our feet. All of us rely on the aquifer for our drinking water, and once it’s compromised, it’s very hard to repair. I will work to protect it, and I’ll do that in partnership with local officials, landowners, businesses, and conservation groups who know this land best. I’d be honored to have your support, and even more, I’d welcome your voice. Together, let’s make sure the Mount Washington Valley stays as healthy and beautiful as we found it.
